Hey All!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone's summer is going well. Mine has been really fun and busy so far. I am teaching sailing again, helping my dad at his shop and enjoying the outdoors a lot. Last weekend I was lucky enough to have a few people down for my birthday weekend, so it's always great to see everyone!

How are all of you? Coach, the kids look adorable, how's the planning for Barbados?! Brooke, how are the last few weeks before the wedding going? Crazy? What about everyone else?

I was also posting because I wanted to know if I could have everyone's updated addresses! I know this has been asked a bunch of times before, but I feel like we're a group that moves around a lot and I am starting an address book (how official, right?!). Anyways, you girls are people that I want to send stuff to so please, please please, if you get chance let me know!

BUSY

Wow! You all must be so busy! I hope you keep checking the blog. Next time write a little something in it! Summer is going so fast! We have been visiting family and doing a lot of plalying and running around. It's been a wonderful time. The ICFH team is gearing up for BARBADOS! We Depart on August 11th at the crack of dawn. Everyone is so excited to travel and play great hockey! We'll be back by the 17th and then we begin pre season on August 20th. I have a good feeling about this year..... The cow girl theme was hit! Brookey had a white cow girl had with a veil attached to it haha! It was a lot of fun and always nice to be back together with icfhers :)

Brookes thing was a great time!!!! We always have a good time though. Gibble came and most of us havent seen her in over a year, maybe almost two. So that was lovely.
PS I was bored and found this old picture.

Another marathon? That's GREAT! And it's for a great cause. I'm proud of you Doc! By the way...nice picture at yavits field!:)

Hello ALL!!!

So I decided to dust off the running shoes and start training for another marathon!

I will be running the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco with the organization Team in Training. I will be raising money to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My grandmother passed away from Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma before I was born and I am running this race in memory of her.

Hello!

Hi everyone-
Hope everything is going well with everyone! I am not running a marathon, half marathon, or more than 3 miles..but I am starting to run again. I miss field hockey so much, I think I am going to start playing, probably by myself hah. I got offered a coaching job at my high school for field hockey, but I won't be here, too bad that would have been a lot of fun! I told them to hold the position for 2 years and I'll take it :)
Hope to see you all soon--I'm going to be making a trip to Ithaca one of these weekends to get the rest of my stuff if anyone is around :)

The Real World!

Hi Guys
I love blogging it's so easy to stay in touch this way without flooding one another's email inboxes -i enjoy that too though. Just wanted to post quick and say that I miss IC already and that it seems weird not to have a summer workout to begin. However, I'm running a half marathon this Sunday in CT- hopefully I'll make it! I start work in NYC bright and early Monday morning and I'm really looking forward to it! I worked for this same company last summer (Grey Worldwide) and I just hope that my real job with them will be as fun, interesting, and challenging as my internship was. It's a funny feeling saying goodbye to three month long summer vacations and hello to two weeks vaca for the rest of my life! I'm sure I will manage though. I'm currently living in Stamford with my sister's bf - on his couch- until I can afford a place in the city. I'm hoping to have an apartment by August, if all goes as planed. Well, I should run and do some more packing! I'll be checking the blog compulsively from work so keep on posting! Love and miss you all :)
